Happy to improve myself

We all did a hard work in Kristianstad, on Saturday’s qualifying, aiming to find the best set-up for the Swedish circuit. But the raining day of Sunday, in the last event of the CIK-FIA European Championship, forced us to check again the tune-up of the chassis. To be honest, I don’t dislike to race on wet tracks, so that I was confident in a good performance in the Final at the Asum Ring. In the Qualifying Heats I was able to recover several places, gaining the 6th row in the last starting grid. Then, in the Final, I climbed some places again. Despite those difficult conditions, I placed 9th. And I was more happy, discovering that I concluded in this same place the race for the European Championship, in the final standings. Yes, I’m satisfied also because this result makes me more confident for the next race, the most awaited event of the year: now I can take on the CIK-FIA World OK Junior Championship, in Brandon on 24th September, knowing that I can be able to give a good impression.

To stand out in Karting one have to work fully-focused to his aim, in a great cooperation with his team and his technicians, to improve his performance. The locations of the Championship’s events are totally different among them, since that they are located at the far ends of the European continent: from Sarno, in Southern Italy, to the west side of Spain; then, crossing Northern France, to the  Scandinavia, where the last two events are located. So high climate difference can influence the kart performance in a considerably way: this is why the technical work have to be as accurate as possible.

I’m happy to have demonstrated improvements in this kind of work, thanks to the support of Chiesa Corse team and its team manager Dino Chiesa. For the same reason, I have to thanks Iame Engines, for their support. On another hand, regarding the results I gained so far I have to give my thanks also to my sponsors, among which I have to remember Hotel Siena degli Ulivi and Ostuni Rosa Marina Resort. I’m counting on a good result to gain in England, to give my thanks to all of them.
