A penultimate round fiery under all points of view for the KZ2 drivers, protagonists of great battles in the double race on Sunday, July 4.
Filed with success the Examination of maturity, Leonardo is immediately back on track in the best way making the protagonist of the category and the ranking Under 20.

Already in qualifying Marseglia had shown a good pace closing in 46.086 his best time, second overall at two tenths from the pole position. Position as usual exploited with intelligence by the Apulian driver regular in their heats (third and second place) and still second in the combined standings, useful for the formation of the starting grid for Race 1.

A first race with high pressure where Leonardo had to fight a lot after the not ideal start, until the comeback in fourth place and second of the Under 20. Weekend at home closed in beauty for Leonardo, started in Race 2 from the fifth position due to the rule of the inverted grid. With a good race pace Marseglia was able to take the lead for more than half of the race, then finishing in second position and first place in the Under 20 classification.

Leonardo: “After all this time of racing without spectators, my friends came here to La Conca and it was nice to race in front of them with a different spirit. I can say that it could have gone better, the race pace was good all weekend. We managed to fix everything as best we could in Race 1, unfortunately a contact at the beginning compromised the race and from last place I recovered up to fourth position, in a few laps we could not do more. In the second final I was in first place for the whole race, it’s a pity that I made a mistake at the end of the race when I went too long on the braking section. I thank my team, Kart Republic and Iame for the continuous technical support”.
